EQP1 / Support
EQP1 support
iPhone and iPad
EQP1 is an AUv3 audio effect for iOS and iPadOS 18 or later. The included app contains the guide. To process audio, add Dubspot EQP1 to an audio track or bus in a compatible AUv3 host, then play audio through that track.
The app opens a guide, with no sound
This is expected. EQP1 processes the signal supplied by your music app. Open your host, choose an Audio Unit effect and select Dubspot EQP1. An instrument slot cannot host this effect.
The effect is missing in my host
Open the EQP1 app once after installation, then reopen your host's effect browser. Confirm that the host supports third-party AUv3 effects. Keep EQP1 installed; deleting its app also removes the extension.
Color remains when EQ In is off
EQ In bypasses equalization while retaining the color stage. Power bypasses the full effect. Open Advanced to adjust Color, Drive, Recovery, Noise and levels. Turn Noise off to disable both generated noise and hum.
Saving and controls
Your host saves each instance's settings in its project. Drag knobs vertically, tap values for numeric entry where available, and use the guide for fine adjustment. On a small phone screen, landscape orientation gives the panel more room.
Desktop AU, VST3 and AAX Native
See desktop installation and activation help and the EQP1 manual. Website desktop licences and the App Store edition are separate purchases.
