When reporting a problem, include the iPad model, the iPadOS version, the Tracker Pro version and build from About and Legal, the audio interface or MIDI device model, and the steps that reproduce the issue. Do not send a project containing licensed or private audio unless support specifically requests it.

Quick help

No sound

Check the selected track's mute state, fader, instrument activator, device chain activators, and the master fader. Open Settings and confirm the current audio route and buffer size. Disconnect and reconnect an audio interface if the route changed while Tracker Pro was open.

MIDI keyboard does not play the selected track

Open Settings, confirm the MIDI source is enabled, and check its optional channel filter. Bluetooth MIDI devices can be connected from the Bluetooth MIDI panel. The selected track must use an internal or Audio Unit instrument, not MIDI Out, to produce sound inside Tracker Pro.

External MIDI notes remain on

Use PANIC in Settings. Tracker Pro also sends note-offs when playback stops, an endpoint disconnects, or a project reloads.

Audio Unit is missing

Install or restore the exact Audio Unit used by the project, then reopen the project. Tracker Pro preserves the component identity and saved state while a plug-in is unavailable. Remove the missing device if the project no longer needs it.

Project did not reopen normally

Use the recovery prompt when Tracker Pro finds a valid rolling recovery generation. Keep the recovered project, then use Collect All and Save before continuing. Do not remove files from inside a .dtproj package manually.

WAV export stops

Keep Tracker Pro open while exporting projects that contain Audio Units. Confirm the destination has enough free space. If iPadOS ends background time, reopen Tracker Pro and start the export again.

Built-in guide

Open Settings and choose Open Guide for the first-hour workflow. Settings also contains the searchable hardware-keyboard reference. About and Legal contains the app version, build, audio-engine facts, acknowledgements, and licenses.
