Tracker Pro privacy policy

Information collection

Tracker Pro does not collect, transmit, sell, or use personal data, and it does not track you across apps or websites. The app's privacy manifest declares no collected data types and no tracking. Tracker Pro has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no networking SDK.

Projects, samples, Audio Unit state, preferences, and exported audio stay on your iPad or in a storage location you choose through Apple's Files app and share sheet. Dubspot does not receive those files.

Device permissions

Tracker Pro asks for these system permissions only when you use the related feature:

• Microphone: to record a sample from the iPad microphone or a connected audio interface. The recording is stored in your project on the device. Tracker Pro does not upload it.
• Bluetooth: to connect MIDI keyboards and controllers. Tracker Pro processes their MIDI messages on the device and does not upload them.

Tracker Pro also stores preferences on the device with Apple's UserDefaults system, checks free disk space before writing a project or a WAV export, and reads the system boot time for local timing.

Audio Units, MIDI, and sharing

Third-party Audio Unit extensions you install run under Apple's extension system, and their software and privacy practices are set by their developers. Tracker Pro stores the Audio Unit state a project needs and does not send that state to Dubspot.

MIDI connections exchange musical control data only with the devices or apps you select.

Projects are local .dtprojpackages. When you share a project or an exported WAV, Apple's Files app or share sheet sends the file to the destination you choose. Tracker Pro does not choose or operate that destination.

Children

Tracker Pro does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version changes how Tracker Pro handles data, this policy and the app's App Store privacy details will be updated before that version is released.
