Lead Developer / Development Manager for Web Site and Systems

We are a music production and DJ school offering in-house and online classes to our students. We are seeking a lead web developer to manage our in-house development efforts and third-party technical service providers.

Responsibilities include:

• working with the in-house functional team to translate business goals to technical projects
• documenting and leading all phases of the development effort from design to deployment
• building and directing an in-house technical team to match the company’s growing development needs

The ideal candidate will have expertise in the following areas:

• Technical specification development and documentation
• Web-based software & database design
• Software implementation & software lifecycle process management
• Integration between internal and SaaS applications
• Testing management (including test plan development, unit/ integration/ UAT)
• Data management/ migration
• Application deployment
• Third-party technical team management
• In-house technical team development

We are interested in candidates looking for either contract or contract-to-hire positions. Rate negotiable and commensurate with experience.
