Founded in New York City in late 2006 by DJ/producer Dan Giove and co-founder JP Solis, Dubspot emerged as one of NYC’s pioneering institutions dedicated to DJing and electronic music production. Initially operating from a single classroom in Manhattan’s vibrant Meatpacking District, Dubspot quickly became renowned for fostering creativity, community, and expertise, equipped from the outset with industry-leading technology. Notable alumni include Grammy-winning producer Illmind, prominent electronic artist Tokimonsta, and renowned DJ Shiftee.
In 2011, Dubspot expanded globally with Dubspot Online, a revolutionary interactive learning platform offering worldwide real-time instructor feedback, engaging video lessons, dynamic forums, and live interactions.
